Many of the illustrations and covers I have produced decorate the writings of my pal. George East, that amalgamation of Olivers (Reed and Hardy). Picture George - glasses ready to jump from his boxer's nose, roll-up in gob, tapping his latest passage on keyboard. 'I'll be with you in a moment, dear boy, I have to finish this article.' I am impressed that this man can talk and type simultaneously. I sneak a look at the article when he goes to the toilet. '...and I think kwurnrjd bdhdld safxia Irtlrjcjfub gkb'
I have illustrated George's series of mad-but-true adventures about buying, and dwelling in a French property, beginning with Home and Dry in France, and his further mad-but-true adventures about running a pub (in England). For more info about George, these books, and how to get them, you can find their website URL on my links page.

This little book of gentle stories for small children was written by Carol Ann Wright I was pleased when she approached me to do the illustrations because I had wanted to do something for the younger age group for quite a while. I think succeeded in rendering Wozwell to Carol's satisfaction (I felt like a police artist, working frantically as she sat describing him), and some nice pictures came out of it all. The book is still available, and I'll be happy to pass any details on to Carol Ann Wright, if you contact me.

I’m happy to be the illustrator of this volume of David Morgan’s brand new Easiread System, which, with the companion book, The Ape in a Cape, aims to help small children, initially with a parent’s supervision, to become a confident reader in 8 - 12 weeks, with notable results occurring within just a few days. For some reason, David chose me to create the images. This guy’s no idiot, which means I must be pretty good. This is hot off the press, so if you parents of tiny kids want to know more, www.easiread.com is the place to look And if you don’t have kids, or you do, and they’re all grown up, you should buy these books anyway, because the pictures are very funny.

This section covers the publicity material and adventure game illustrations I have produced for Interactive Broadcasting since 1995. For 'The Age of Adventure', which is a fabulous on-line adventure game set in a mythical Victorian-age world, I was required to create a series of paintings which would appear on the player's screen at specific stages (but which acted as illuminations, and do not constitute a working part of the game). This is a small selection of the many paintings I did. To see the rest, you will need to play the game. You can find the URL IB Games on my links page.

I missed the boat here. I had discussed providing some text illuminations and a possible jacket designs for a book which was being prepared by my old friend, Ron Weighell, entitled The Irregular Casebook of Sherlock Holmes. Because of various other pesky but necessary jobs and tribulations which arose over the period when I wanted to work on the illustrations, they never happened, and I have to say, I regret having missed the opportunity to work with my friend on this book, and the pride it would have given me to have my pictures associated with this marvelous collection of short stories, which chronicle some of the great detective’s more bizarre adventures.
However, for anyone who enjoys a ripping yarn, which will chill the spine, stir the blood and satisfy the intellect, this book is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.
