next image I had the name, and didn't know what to do with it. At the same time, 1986, my friend, Mel, was getting a computer games magazine interested in the idea of a running a satirical comic strip. Mercy formed then and there. Lazy, sneaky, chain-smoking, boozing, cruel, but somehow lovable, Mercy Dash, the procrastinating PR girl, disgraced the pages of the magazine for eighteen months, until she went too far with her antics, and the editor cried, 'enough, already!' She got fired. I've been trying to find work for her ever since, but who would employ the li'l minx? The episode shown here, featuring someone who looks a little like a certain Hollywood actor, was submitted, but never published. next image
